LIT started because we wanted candles we could feel good about. Not the mass-produced, paraffin-filled kind that leave black soot on your walls. Proper candles. Made with care, with ingredients you can trust.
We're a small, independent candle studio based right here in Liverpool. Every single candle and wax melt we make is hand-poured in small batches using 100% organic soy wax and premium fragrance oils. No paraffin. No synthetic dyes. No nonsense.
Why soy wax?
Soy wax burns cleaner and longer than paraffin. It's vegan, biodegradable, and produces minimal soot. It also holds fragrance beautifully — which means a stronger, more natural scent throw that fills your room without overwhelming it.
We believe your home should smell incredible without compromising on quality or the planet. That's why we use fully recyclable packaging, reusable glass jars, and plastic-free shipping materials.
Inspired by Liverpool
Our scents are inspired by the city we love — from the waterfront breeze to the green spaces, the cosy pubs to the buzzing streets. Each one tells a little story about Liverpool.
Dock Road captures the character of the docklands. Sefton Park bottles up a walk in the rain. Penny Lane is pure golden warmth. And The Mersey? That's the river running through it all.
